Iran woke up this morning (Friday) to a major attack from Israel and a declaration of war. Iran has been an avowed enemy to Israel with a promise to destroy Israel. A nuclear capability in Iran would make this possible, unless destroyed by Israel as they set out to accomplish this morning.
BIBLE PROPHESY
To the best of my understanding, Iran is called Persia or Elam in the Bible. It seems prophetically Iran will be involved in the battle of Gog and Magog when the world powers come against Israel (Revelation 20:8-9). It seems as if Russia, a nation from the north of Israel (Ezekiel 38:6) will join in alliance with Iran and other nations for their total destruction (Ezekiel 38 and 39).
WHERE DO WE STAND IN ALL OF THIS?
God promised to fight for Israel and destroy all her enemies supernaturally. This is a significant event this morning that is the beginning of greater things to come. For the Bride of Christ, the conclusion of these things will come at another time appointed by God, surely the Believer will be safe in God’s pavilion (Psalms 27:5). May we more than ever, in sincerity of heart; Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

QUESTION: Will Ezekiel 38 and 39 come to pass before the rapture?
Now if you will notice, Ezekiel 38 and 39 deals with Gog and Magog, which is Russia, the north country. Now, I do not say that this is correct, but to my way of teaching it, that, it comes to pass after the rapture, after the church is taken up. And God deals with Gog and Magog when they come down before Israel there. And I think that will come to pass after the rapture. Now, that doesn’t make it so. See? But that’s just my way of teaching it. I suppose that’s what they wanted to know, what my idea was. – William Branham
