Pastor's Thoughts

AN OLD PASTOR’S POINT OF VIEW:

You may be a great preacher, with a hard hitting ministry. Your ministry may have been used for many years and all over the world. You may have the largest church and the most likes on Facebook.

But if you are constantly exalting your own works, above others and the LORD… if you are rude to people to the point they cannot even talk with you without you interrupting (family or friends). If you are more concerned about protecting your own self and ministry, then the spiritual care for those you say you care for. If you are constantly belittling others that don’t do it your way, by; reinventing the Message or interpreted the Word of God to fit what you do.

Then you are a denier of the gospel, your love is misplaced and all your knowledge and the great things you boast in are in vain (1 Corinthians 13:1-3).

Every preacher should say as John the Baptist: “I must decrease so HE can increase.”
