William Branham speaking at Life Tabernacle in Shreveport Louisiana, which was a great Pentecostal church of the day. He preached there many times and loved the people and wanted to see them grounded in truth. They were looking for a great revival and move of God. He spoke the following that was a veiled rebuke and a true desire of why he was there.

Now we’re looking forward for the Coming of the Lord, in our generation. I’m not looking for revival in our generation. I am ever so thankful that by God’s predestination I believe those words and recognized my day and its MESSAGE. I am not looking for something greater, the greater has already come and is still alive in my heart!
