The Church in the ages has grown to the harvest, as a field planted in wheat. As the church grows to maturity so does the individual. The fruit comes to its full maturity, at the harvest time. Spiritually speaking that is where the church is and the individual Believer.
“You can’t plant corn in the springtime and reap at the same time. You plant a seed and it grows to maturity. God plants His Word and then It grows right out. And then we look back and say, “There It was.” Why, sure, we see It after It’s been revealed.” – WMB

Number one: You cannot produce them without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. It takes a life to produce fruit. Without the inward work of the life of Christ, it is like putting peacock feathers in a buzzard – artificial fruits.
Number two: A person can be filled with knowledge of the Message, gifts and abilities without the fruit of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 13:1-3). This makes a person, regardless of those things, of no real value to the kingdom.
Mark 4:29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
THE FRUITS OF HARVEST – that is where we are at, the harvest, when the fruit comes to maturity.
