Fellowship and Light

What do we follow, what has attracted our attention? There is something or someone we are spiritually attached to in fellowship and all we are, all we do, our whole life and ministry is wrapped around that one purpose! Is it a church, is it a certain ministry, is it a privileged doctrine, or is it the coming of the mighty Elijah that was promised in Mal 4:5-6, Rev 10:7?

There are many who get side tacked from God’s very purpose by these very important things listed above. Can we, after hearing the message of God’s mighty prophets (John 1:11) “comprehend Him not?” We see something; it might be great and mighty but fail to comprehend the true Light! When the true Light came (John 1:1), there was a prophet present to declare that Light; John 1:6 “There was a man sent from God, whose name was John (The mighty Elijah promised at His first coming). 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” There is a difference in being the Light and bearing witness of it. They were confused then, we get it confused today. Even John had to say, “I am not the Christ. …there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me (John 1:20-27).”

Our fellowship is with Light, the Light that was at the beginning (Gen.1), the same light identified in John 1:1 as the Word in the beginning. No wonder Bro. Branham at the opening of the Seventh Seal, as he came to the end of that series of sermons said; “There won’t be two of us here the same time. If it is, he will increase, I’ll decrease.” Therefore, what is the “Message” where is our fellowship?

1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

What do we follow, what is our attraction, is it the Light that was at the beginning?  Or is it someone or something else!
