What will happen in 2017?  Where will this New Year take us?  Every new day, new season or New Year brings uncertainties.  This we do not like, but uncertainties are necessary, even though it scares us when it comes.  Right know we are in a time of unparalleled change and uncertainty.  Truth has disappeared from the public square, and people want it that way; in politics and even in the church.  Some say that hope is gone from our nation and the world?  And if so, faith is gone.  However, the Bible tells us; Heb 11:1 “…faith is the substance of things hoped for.”  A life without hope is a life without faith, it is like traveling without a map or GPS device to guide you to the place you have never been.  You have never been to tomorrow; you may not know how to get there, but we all must go.  Something will guide you into this New Year, in spite of uncertainties.  That is when faith really works.  To you the Believer, this year will hold God’s best, because you are His best!  Even if the world seems to be falling apart around you!

“And we submit ourselves to Thee this morning, the beginning of this new year, and ask that You fill us all with the Holy Spirit, Lord, and draw us close to Thee; and may Thy everlasting arms be around us and hold us, Lord, for the days are shaking and dark, but the Morning Star is leading the way. We shall follow, Lord. Where He leads me, I will follow. If it be some through the waters, some through the flood, some through deep trials, but all through the Blood.”  – Brother Branham’s prayer (in sermon: Why are People Tossed About)
