The word ADOPTION in the Bible has become somewhat obscure. As a preacher, I am afraid we have made a mystery out of the mystery – this should not be.  The Bible is easily understood, or hard to understand depending on how it is presented.  Remember, the opening of the great mysteries of the Seven Seals (Revelation 10:7) came to us as; God being revealed in simplicity.

The Apostle Paul wrote that there is no excuse for the ignorance of sinful man; Rom 1:20 “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.”

Adoption spoken of in the Apostles teachings referred to the Believers “placing” in the Body of Christ, not his birth as a Christian.  It is in that “place” we find the light of God’s presence constantly with us – as the power and the glory of Christ in all we are and all we do.  This includes all Christians, young and old, male and female.  You have a place, you have a position and that is where you find your blessings!  I love the quote from Reverent William Branham (1909-1965); “Give me a preacher; give me a Christian; give me a housewife that’s a Christian; give me a farmer or a factory worker that’ll put God first in everything, I’ll show you a man that’ll be successful in the spite of all the devil can put on him. He seeks God first.”

Your place in His body, on the earth, is given to you as the mystery of His will for your life.  No one can give you that, it is your spiritual DNA, and you alone can fulfill that purpose. “How do I know my place?”  If you are saved, follow the LIGHT, the light of the scriptures by the Holy Spirit which placed you in the body of Christ.

As the prophet Moses, the children of Israel, and the Apostle Paul found their place, there was something they all had in common.  They followed the light, the Pillar of Fire.  That is the Holy Spirit today, not man, not a group of men, or a even a church.  It is God in spirit form as He came on the day of Pentecost.  Let that lead you and then stay in that presences and you will do and be what God has predestinated for you in this world and I believe the world to come!

We all  have a place, so do not try to be someone else!  It is a mystery that will be revealed to you according to God’s will; Ephesians1:5,”Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will”

Quoting the Reverent William Branham (1909-1965) again in regards to the above scripture; “… God trying to place His people. And when God places one, then, oh, all the whole church wants to be like that one, have the same kind of things, do the same things. We are cut out different; we’re made different; we are natured different; and we are positionally placed different, each one for a different work; maybe one for just a little kind of a work, another for a large work.”

God has purposed the mystery of His will in Himself and you as a Christian are predestinated to your mystery alone, a place where you will find the power and the glory of God in all you do and all you are!
