WHY THE TRIAL?

We all have trials as Believers.  Some seem greater than we can bear!  DO NOT let the devil tell you it is God punishing you.  Trials, difficulties and circumstances we go through are God’s way of perfecting us.  The problems we have can be found greater than the blessings we enjoy. Job suffered, material loss, he suffered mentally, and physically.  His wife discouraged him and his church friends accused him!  Job knew that through it all God; “would put strength in me (Job 23:6).”

If you do not understand what is happening to you, just remember our LORD does understand and He will not lead you down a dead-end street.  He is not a name-it-claim-it God, but has placed promises in the Bible that have proven to bless others through the ages just like you.

The Apostle Peter knew a little bit about suffering and encouraged his church and ours; 1 Peter 1:7 “That the trial of your faith , being much more precious than of gold that perisheth… (1 Peter 1:7).”

The following is a prayer from Bro. William Branham (1909-1965); “Lord, Thou has been our Refuge and Strength in all generations. Our forefathers before us trusted in Thee and were not confounded. They believed in Thy holy Name, and they were brought forth as shining lights; and we, looking upon them, as the poet has said, “Footprints upon the sands of time; our partings leave behind us, footprints on the sands of time.” Then we see that those who trusted in Thee, always, without one time failing, come out right. Though they went through many deep waters and great trials and persecutions, but yet in the end Thou did always bring them out more than conquerors, because it is Thy promised Word that You would do this.”
